Parking Availability is now part of Google Maps!
Are you ready?
Google is rolling out the parking availability feature in 25 metropolitan areas in the US, and THREE of them happen to be in Florida. Tampa, Orlando, and Miami are all privy to this new feature in Google Maps, which will warn drivers and patrons-to-be how difficult it will be to find parking when they arrive at your destination. FDC has offices in all three cities.
As drivers/customers become more accustomed to these features, they will become more reliant on the benefits of smart phones and their accessibility to information, and less likely to “wait around” as our “check and see mentality” becomes a thing of the past. You can get ahead of the curve here with an intuitive parking guidance system. These systems will wave customers in with green lights indicating vacant spots, and guide them right to the open spot for the ultimate in parking availability convenience. SmartPark parking management software handles the rest of the business side of things.
Before long Google will be able to tie in to your systems, show the driver a live feed of the spot that is now reserved for them, process payment and even park their car for them. But until then, FDC parking solutions will get you where you need to be.
